Toshiba has developed OCB (Optically Compensated Bend) LCD panel for 3D glasses.Glasses produced by advanced OCB panel is expected to offer a wide viewing angle and optimized contrast.
"The glasses that will be embedded these panels will have high speed shutter opening and closing, thus significantly reducing the repetition of 3D," explained the official Toshiba statement.
"Additionally, a wide angle of view provides a scenic view along the vast 3D space of visibility, such as home cinema or cinemas."
According to Toshiba, the glasses will allow users to watch high-quality 3D image with 'minimal fatigue' while watching TV, movies or playing video games if a longer period of time.
