Internet is the ideal "killer" of time?

A study by Pew Research Center found that about 53 percent of Americans, the ageof 18 to 29 years, go online without any particular reason, and only 81 percent of respondents say that they do occasionally carry CNN. 


Young people are no exception. And the other age groups use the Internet in their spare time, nearly 58 percent of adults admitted to surf fun, while in 2006, these were45 percent.
Researchers at the conclusion that the Internet has become one of the main ways that people, as young and old, spend their free time.

They say the rise in the number of people who use the Internet for entertainmentcoincides with the rise of social networking and watching videos.

The study involved 2,260 people aged over 18 years.
